Use of Cookies

The use of cookies on this site is restricted to that necessary for the technical administration of the online store. The server assigns a randomly generated 'session identifier' to each browser session so that the store can distinguish between multiple, concurrent shoppers. No information other than the 'session identifier' is ever stored in a cookie by this site. Further, the 'session identifier' cookie is designed to expire and be deleted at the end of each user's browser session — i.e., when the user closes his/her browser.

Collection & Use of Personal Information

Cleveland Model & Supply Co., Inc. collects no personal information whatsoever on this site other than that used to create and fulfill orders of our goods or to allow our customers to enroll in our E-mail List. Personal information (name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and order details, etc.) is used only for the purpose of fulfilling each order or to satisfy enrollment in the E-mail List, and is never willingly shared with or sold to any third party.

Secure Socket Layer

This site employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt the session between each user's browser and the server throughout the entire Checkout procedure. Consequently, all personal information volunteered by the user during the Checkout process (name, address, phone number, e-mail address, shipping address, credit card number, etc.) is encrypted for the protection of the user's privacy and the security of the information.

Credit Card Numbers

This site stores ABSOLUTELY NO credit card numbers at any time or in any way. In addition to the SSL encryption used to ensure the security of personal and credit information at point of entry, this site merely passes the necessary credit information (without storing it) to its real-time credit card processing service, PayPal™, for verification. The communication with PayPal ™ is similarly protected via SSL encryption. The results of each credit verification request are returned to this site via the secure gateway WITHOUT the associated credit card number.

PCI/DSS Compliance

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI/DSS) policies were established by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCISSC), which was created by the major credit card companies to protect credit card information. As part of the PCI/DSS compliance regimen, Cleveland Model is subject to annual, independent audits. As a result of our most recent audit performed by Clover Security, Cleveland Model has been re-certified as PCI/DSS compliant through January 2021.
