Model Airplane Plans Shipping, Handling & Returns Practices

Shipping

Cleveland Model & Supply Co. employs United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail as its standard method of delivery of all orders having a domestic (United States and Puerto Rico) shipping address. Consequently, current USPS Priority Mail rates form the basis for our shipping/handling charges. At the Customer’s specific request, Cleveland Model & Supply Co. will ship by alternate carriers, such as United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FEDEX), etc., but at the prevailing shipping rates for the type of service and for the size and weight of the packaged order.

NOTE: Use of alternate shipping methods will almost certainly increase the total cost of the order.

For shipping addresses outside of the United States and Puerto Rico, Cleveland Model & Supply Co. attempts to locate the least expensive airmail carrier providing service to the specific 'foreign' shipping address. No warranty or guarantee that our process will result in the least possible shipping cost is given or may be inferred for any shipment.

Handling

Cleveland Model & Supply Co.'s standard handling of plans for shipment is to fold the ordered plan(s) within a box or envelope. The Customer may, at additional cost, purchase a mailing tube, in which case the ordered plans are rolled within the mailing tube prior to shipment. If in addition to the mailing tube the Customer orders a calendar and/or catalog, the calendar and/or catalog will be shipped flat within a separate box or envelope.

Returns

Cleveland Model & Supply Co.'s return practices/policy consist of the following:

  • All returns must be made within 30 days of delivery.
  • The refund will be for the cost of the PLANS only. No refunds on tubes or shipping (to or from customer) will be made.
  • Custom scale plans are NOT subject to refund under any circumstances.
